Cary Green Week 2008
Cary Club goes Green
This year Purdue University is launching a week-long initiative to bring the campus community together in an effort to make Purdue more environmentally friendly and sustainable. At Cary Quadrangle, we are joining the campus-wide festivities with our own efforts to make Cary more environmentally friendly.

Each day during the week has a different theme: Monday is Sustainability; Tuesday is Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle; Wednesday is Energy; Thursday is Research; and Friday is Water. Below is a list of activities residents of Cary Quadrangle to do during green week in hopes of adopting in their daily routines.
- Participate in De-trash the Wabash on Friday, September 19th from 4-6:30pm
- Turn off your lights when not in your room as well as electronic devices
- Take a 3-minute shower to conserve water
- Recycle printer paper, only print something if you really need a hard-copy
- Recycle aluminum cans and plastic bottles
- Use less plates at dining courts to reduce water usage for cleaning
